Pasted Pieces

Back to lame sized pictures ):. You can always click for full size! Artist: Piumu
I'm really happy right now since I've just finished an English assignment. YAY! Didn't stay up too late on this one and I want to hurry up and sleep so I'm gonna do this quick and not carefully (depending on how you think of it, I'm gonna get dumped. Anyone that gets this joke, quietly laugh to yourself :)). Today's song is something I've been wanting to save for those lazy days:
Today's song is... Ro..ck..?

OH MY GOD!! CHRISTA!! THIS IS BETRAYAL! YOU SAID NOT TO SHARE POPULAR MUSIC, YOU BITCH! Yeah I know.. But I really like this song, don't blame me for liking popular music too ok? The artist is John Mayer and the song is called "Neon". I know that he's a douchebag and stuff but..! Remember what I said about music. Music is art in the form of sound. So we'll let that step aside and think purely about his music. In that term, he's a great guitarist and he's pretty good at singing.

Back to the real topic of today which is nonexistent. I looked over my past posts and I've seen some development, have you? If you haven't maybe you just haven't read my old posts, which is fine, but I remember those early posts when I didn't know what to say.. Now I just have to conjure things on the spot and if I don't.. Well, THIS happens :P.
I've been thinking about what blogging really means lately, what is it's significance and what purpose does it hold. A lot of blogs circulate around a theme, or they're made for things. Like people making blogs to talk about their pets or a blog to keep up with a band or something. Then there are those blogs by famous people or just.. NORMAL people like me in general. Talking about normal shit (hopefully the famous people have something interesting to say), and sharing pictures and youtube urls. But after I've started this blog-gy business , I've found myself happily tapping away at my keyboard!~ Even if I'm only sticking odd bits together.
I shall talk about my day now. I had foods first block, surprisingly, I don't dislike it anymore, BECAUSE WE GOT TO COOK AND EAT! I didn't eat breakfast so I'm glad I got to eat in class. I made apple crisp with mah partner, Joyce. It was good. Very good. I wasn't late for class either, and when I got lectured by my teacher all I could look at was his mustache.. So strangely cartoon shaped.. Hm..Like that guy on Mythbusters.

Er.. Maybe not? Do you guys remember this show?! I LOVED IT!! Even when that ginger chick joined and the chinese guy joined and they.. Just became the main cast... I think. Ever since I've stopped watching TV I don't keep up with this stuff at all so don't blame me D;. There's always the internet.

Even when I try to make my post NOT texty it always ends up texty.. And when I'm at my climax of texty writing I run out of text and stop typing. This makes me end my post. Dear lord, I guess I really haven't gotten much better at blogging after all :).
Goodnight world.

Here's a really cute picture that I wanted to share before.. But I don't have the artist credit, sorry..
That is if you guys even care about that lol.

The Post Apart

2 enormous pictures in a row!? Here's a picture of a guy with a camera. I like this one a lot. Artist: Sarugetty

Hello Hello, world! (have I done this one yet?)
I'm not going to do the music intro bit today because I've already talked about this one before..........
Today's song is... More alternative rock!

Yes, it is the band apart.. I introduced them in my music post WHICH I SHALL TELL YOU TO READ BECAUSE I LIKED THAT POST. Alright. The song is called "Coral Reef". This one makes me feel light and tingly inside..Like all of the band apart's stuff lolllll.

I haven't started my math homework today so I'm going to un-creatively take someone else's idea and put it in my blog. YAAAAAY! If you ever have any topics you want me to discuss, tell me in the comments or cbox. Whatever suits you better. And if I like it (you have a 100% I'll talk about it if I have nothing else) I shall write about it! I don't think I'll ever get requests because no one wants to read about my take on it.. -facepalm-
My sister was talking to me about these the other day and they really got me interested. I recommend everyone to read this. They're tricks on your phone that you usually..don't hear (gj if you have). Even if you don't have a phone, you should read this. It may come in handy sometime. And this works on all phones so don't think your phone isn't capable of it :P. (Source: My sister. I honestly don't know where she got it, if you really want to know, I will look up the actual source lol.)

FIRST: Emergency The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find Yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to Establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND: Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot From your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other ’ remote ’ for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor’ s Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!

THIRD: Hidden Battery Power Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.

FOURTH: How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone To check your Mobile phone’s serial number, key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. And Finally……

FIFTH:Free Directory Service for Cells Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don’t have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800)FREE411, or(800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell phone now.

Hope you read that and it was interesting. Try them out! :D They work. My lazy post ends here, and I shall bid you farewell. SEE YOU TOMORROW!

OBLIGATORY END PIC! This one is so cooool~ Artist: Kagaya

Christ..Um, how do You Spell That?

Here's a nice GIGANTIC...peaceful picture :). Artist: Fo~do
Today started out bad so I'm going to post a song up to cheer myself and anyone else feeling upset today.
Today's song is.... ALTERNATIVE

The song is called "Make it Glow" and the band is UNCHAIN. I say alternative but I'd like to tie this with rock and indie as well. This song makes me happy. Sets a nice light mood. If I wanted to share anything else I'd put up some more of the band apart but I don't feel like it today :P. I talked about this band briefly before.. It's very similar to the band apart or He and for the others that I don't know much about there is this page!

Yeah, I added a chatbox to the side of my blog because my blog seemed a little..dead. Like very inactive. But you can't have an active blog with no people, so hopefully I can at least increase the activity going around here with whoever's already reading.
I just came back from eating some all-you-can-eat japanese bbq and I haven't eaten this much since the last supper. Anyone that has read the bible is going to scold me now for being incorrect. And anyone who believes in Christ is going to shoot me.. This is a joke guys, but it's a good time to explain my nicknames :).

Here's a topic that I have conjured while writing haha!
What are nicknames? In a technical sense, nicknames are labels of OWNERSHIP. Have you seen someone (or perhaps that one is you) get angry when another person uses the nickname you've appointed to a certain someone? It's because that's the name they (or you) use to own people: This nickname makes you my property, no one else can has it. <insert lolcat picture of a cat protectively holding cheeseburger>

My name isn't constantly played with lol. But everyone likes to make nicknames when they're bored so I have my own share as well. So far, the lamest nickname I've gotten was Chris. Then there are weird one's like Jesus (which is why I'll make more Jesus jokes in the future) and Gayest Urchin. I'ma explain those ones because they are important..Sort of.And  all nicknames that aren't used enough will be forgotten so no one calls me Gayest Urchin anymore :P.
When I first entered highschool a lot of teachers and people in general would ask me how my name was spelled. Rather than spelling it out like a regular person I'd be all clever and respond with something all people should understand. "Um.. Christ with an A". Some people thought it was funny so they'd giggle (or chuckle..). THEN, there was that one time I remember when I had a French project with this guy in my class. I didn't expect this to happen. EVER. And It's something I'll remember all my life. *Anyone who knows me well has probably heard this more than 3 times. He asked what my name was.. Alright, we've been in the same class all year, but I don't blame him. So I replied with "Christ with an A". TO MY ABSOLUTE SURPRISE HE SAID "..Um.. How do you spell Christ?" DEAR LORD JEZUZ GOD DAMMIT!!!!!!!! -FACEPALM-
At the time all I could do was politely spell out Christ. For some reason, I just couldn't laugh at the time. Probably because it was more of a "Lol dude, u srs?" moment than a "LOL U FAIL" moment.
Back to the point, Christ relates to Jesus. And someone heard me spell it that way and started calling me "Jesus-A". Then Kirsty went to California Disneyland later that year and bought me a keychain that said Jesus. It was on my backpack for a long time too lol.
The next nickname, "Gayest Urchin", comes from a joke between Daphne and I. If you rearrange all the letters in my name, TADAH! You get Gayest Urchin. Pretty amazing coincidence :D~ The last one I take a sort of pride in was made by Kirsty. This one was made from my nickname which would make.. "YEUNG MONEY". There you have it, my rapper name (Young Chris lolll).
This concludes my nickname introduction :D! Goodnight world!
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KIRSTY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Here's another art piece by the same guy! I love the colours~~ Artist: Fo~do

I'mma be the Panty to Your Hoe

I start every morning with a cup'pa coffee. THAT HAS A FACE °O°
Hello, hello everyone. I will straight off start with a music intro today. I think today's post will be long-ish. AND YES. PICTURES YAY! LOL

Today's song is.... Post-rock!

The band is called LITE and the song is called "Phantastia". Since post-rock usually leads to instrumental I'll leave it there with math rock as well (I like this genre a lot, you'll notice it more in the future lol). Unlike the last instrumental band I shared (Oyu- お湯) this one is more post-rock than alternative or indie. Some bands really similar to this would be toe, Mouse on the Keys, and er.. Maybe eksperimentoj. This is a good band with nice melodies and fantastically timed stops :) (MATH ROCK!).

So.. The post of today will be a day description YAY!
So I woke up very early and got breakfast at Mcdonalds with my sister. Hence the picture of the coffee. I hadn't eaten breakfast in there in so long lol..
To my sister's disappointment the fries "bin" was full of hashbrowns (yes, she wanted fries for breakfast lolwtf??) and there were also sausages and bacon on the grill instead of regular patties.
Went to Dapner's house and found Kirsty, Joyce, and Eleanor yayyyyyyyy. "We" went to Daimasu and ate some sushi. I say "we" because I was full from the breakfast and decided to leech off everyone in my own unique way :) -cough-.

Left is door, right is 3 chinese kids (Joyce is so camera shy :) ).

I found one of those tanuki statues at the front of the door and I went like :O! MUST TAKE PICTURE. Never got one.. If you're wondering, this is what it is..

Fuck.. That damn raccoon dog with those giant balls :|.
Back to the topic, we went to our local thrift store next to the restaurant to do some small shopping and just look around in general. I FOUND SOME COOL STUFF ROFL.
..LOBOTOMY!!

SOME GUIDO AND GUIDETTE FOR ALL'A'Y'ALL. Lol.. I saw this and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. The names for them are "Jersey ___ Wig". No, the blank does not mean to have "shore" there.
I found some other funny stuff and other just pictures I felt like taking. THIS PICTURE ESPECIALLY DROVE ME MAD.

Yes, it took a lot of courage and power to close my mouth, take all three Hilary Duff cd's of "Metamorphosis" and put them up like this next to the books. The cd section had some people and they gave me weird looks so I just took them in a less crowded place. Anyways,  who knew I'd find 3 copies of the same Hilary Duff CD!? LOLOL. This album actually is in my memory pretty deep since when I was in grade 2 we were learning about metamorphosis with butterflies and one of my classmates brought up that Hilary Duff released a CD called metamorphosis. So she brought it in the next day and we all sat there on the carpet with our brainwashed blank faces and the teacher asked us if it explained metamorphosis. Of course at the time I didn't know words so I just nodded my head like everyone else lol. I found a lot of stuff in there. They have the tiny vinyls too.
No, I'm not retarded, talking about vinyls and then cassettes :P.
I was gonna put this as the opening picture.

I found these cute Mcdull pins :D. I bought a pack here:

GUYS. FOR THE LAST MOTHER FUCKIN' TIME, DARBY IS A MAN. A FULL GROWN FUCKIN' MAN.

Added them to my button collection! Each one has it's own story now, they're pretty interesting. Just keep lookin' and feel free to ask me to explain 'em :). The bag is special too, got it from our Japanese exchange student 2 years ago :).

Here's a teapot set I found and a motorcycle that Daphne (I think) said looked like one from an anime.. Umm.. Akira? XD lol
That's it for today guys. A less words post with more of pictures. I have a lot of unfinished things to do so I'll get those done now. See you tomorrow guys! :D

Aww ;A;~ Look at the dog.. W-WAIT, IT'S TRYING TO READ!? HOLY SHIT 6 PAGES!?
I CAN'T EVEN READ THAT KINDA SHIT! Artist: Harusaki Iwai

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes

I like the colours. I think I've posted something by this artist before.. Artist: Arsenixc

Hello everyone! Today, I shall rant. This is because I didn't end up going to the maid cafe like I thought I would. And I'm sick and hungry at home... Sorry, no pics. I hope I'll get somewhere with my rant today. But let's hurry onto the music intro post, shall we?

Today's song is... Er.. Post-hardcore

The band is called Fact (wiki page). I feel kinda queasy about sharing this one. They've gotten a lot of attention lately since they released their second album "In the Blink of an Eye". This song comes from their self-entitled album (released on Vagrant Records). Since then they've been signed to Hassle Records. I read a few reviews on the band today since their debut album was released on an US label. Fact's genres are post-hardcore and melodic hardcore, but I'm leaning towards the latter. This song would be a good example of it too. I heard about this band from my brother since he really liked it. In my opinion, I think they're a great band (topped off with some engrish vocals haha) just a little generic here and there but nonetheless a great band.

My intro was so long that I forgot what I was going to rant about!~ Lol I'm joking. TODAY, I shall talk about change. And how people detest it or force it to happen. What brought me to this topic was the new twitter which I don't have but I've seen..sorta. You know when a website updates their layout or changes something a lot of people get happy and like it, but there's always those few people that hate it and decide to bash it or something. It happened with Facebook. But by now I'm sure that no one wants to get back to it, am I right? I can understand that it can be uncomfortable to have something changed from what you usually see or expect, but people can be so negative towards change.. And then, there are the people that force change to happen. This can be pretty easy at times when you can control what is being changed.
Well, most of the times though, change is a good thing. Because people are constantly making change for the better (..or the worse) for many um.. reasonable reasons (usually). Well, change can't always be a good thing like how things equality and freedom can't always be good things either.
And my "rant" ends with a contradicting sentence. Oh boy :P.

Here's my ending video for some type of Egyptian cheese (?). This video makes me laugh, be scared, and want to buy that cheese all at once.
NO. I didn't see this from RWJ so stop accusing me :(. I saw it before him on another website. Enjoy.

I'm out, guys. And if you don't get the title reference go google it and get yourself edumacated.

Guys, It was so damn cold today and the bus didn't feel like stopping for like an hour.. Artist: Jun

Dammit guys, it was so cold I wore a sweater with a hoodie today. It's only September too. Dammit cold sucks. Hilariously enough, in my last post I ended with "GUYS!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUUUUUUUPER COLD WEATHER THIS YEAR!".
Even in my house right now, I'm wearing a sweater over a sweater. I'm so indecisive. I want it to be cold but I also want it to be hot..

Well, here's the music intro which isn't really an intro anymore.
Today's song is...More Jazz..?

I was choosing between this really cheesy sounding other one so I hope I made the right choice. The song is called "Stolen Moments" by SOIL & "PIMP" Sessions featuring Jamie Cullum doing the..well singing. Soil and "Pimp" are a real nice group. They do club jazz and have gotten pretty popular lately. Guys, I promise. I'll try to share something different tomorrow XD. This song sounds cool so I thought I'd just put this out.

Today really sucked. No one likes to hear about crappy days (I know I don't) unless the crappyness is so crappy that it gets funny. No, my crappy day wasn't funny or interesting. It just sucked. I hope I can be happy after I play some guitar and get myself another milk tea.

I took the most crowded bus today but it still felt really lonely.

See you soon..

Dog Days of Autumn

It's so cold in the morning.. I can see the vapor in the air when I breathe.. Artist: Isou Nagi
Today's song is...JAAAAZZZZ

The artist is Esperanza Spalding and the song is called I "Know You Know". I wanted to share something.. quiet today. Quiet and calm. My idea is to not overshare music and not to share music from bands that are super popular.. Even though I like a lot of those kinda bands (Ex. RCHP or Foo Fighters. Some bands I just wouldn't feel like sharing like Dream Theatre or System of a Down and a bunch of other ones) too. I know that Esperanza Spalding is very famous already lol. She's a bassist, singer, and composer. I really like her bass lines and she has a nice smooth voice.
I have a lot of jazz coming up these next days so you better be freakin' ready. JAZZ SOUNDS GOOD IN MY EARS. MAEKS U HAPPI.

Today was a lazy, slow day and I already feel like giving up for the week since tmr is the last day of school week. FRIDAY IS PRO-D!!!!!
When I go home tomorrow I'm going to go to sleep and die. In my sense: sleep = dead. On the end of a school week I sleep all the hours I've slept during the five days. It's like I'm making up for the whole thing. And when I wake up it feels like I've risen from the dead!!
Btw guys, I did improv in band class today PROPERLY. I was so proud I told everyone! I even spotted some key changes yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. This must be boring to read roflllll.

I'm going to the maid cafe in Richmond this Friday. Someone spread the word and it seems like the group we're going with has turned into a party or something.
I think I can get permission to take pics so I WILL take pics. Yeah, I will bring my camera.
For anyone who doesn't get my title my title literally makes no sense and today wasn't hot at all but let's just pretend that I sound clever and I'm using this kinda wordy-reference. Which brings me to the opposite of hot:
GUYS!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUUUUUUUPER COLD WEATHER THIS YEAR!
Last winter was 8°C everyday and it was also raining, so I hope for snow this year. I'm bad a keeping one topic and ending posts. Sorry guys. See you tomorrow.
Unrelated engrish picture I found. I love engrish :D.
Btw guys, I think I passed the foods test. Hopefully with flying colours~

Staying Faithful

Guys, don't call this rude, I call it comfortable, and this is how I sit on the bus. Artist: Kinseijin

Staying faithful is
so very hard since you have

 duh sexy wife, dude.

Your wife is thirty?
Because her body tells me
another thing, dude.

The bus is swaying
your wife's breasts are swaying
motion sickness, dude.

Somebody forbid me from writing any form of poetry ever AGAIN. I made up the post title on a whim as I thought about Dapner's blog and how I'm actually still writing daily posts (lazy ass, get back to work, kitchen or comp, YOU CHOOSE). To anyone that appreciates poetry fully (I do too, guys), I'd like to apologize for tainting your arts. I'm don't even think my haiku's are correct. The theme today is avant-garde inspirations LOLOLOL.
I'm joking, the theme is YOUR WIFE.
I thought of the wife thing because I was reading a forum, please don't take any of this seriously (I'm joking about the link..). I don't mean anything lol.. I don't have a song to share today but I was thinking of sharing some sort of heavy metal since the first 2 were alternative rock and the second was jazz.
OH HELL WITH IT!

Here's a song I half-assedly chose, the band is Soutaisei Riron (相対性理論 meaning theory of relativity). I really love this band! The music is so sweet sounding and the vocalist( Yakushimaru Etsuko) has voice that nicely compliments it. The great part about this band is their lyrics, there aren't a lot of translations on them if you want the english but they're really unique (okay, they wrote a song about mathematics, alright?..I'm not joking). I would like to learn this song on guitar since the tune is so cute :).

I don't have anything else to share except that I have a foods test tomorrow and I have no preparation. YAY!!!!!!! -This is where I say FML and Orz-

It's cute because one of the text bits says "I've gained a little weight..".
Artist: Omumu

See you tomorrow everyone!(Well, that was quick.)

..Huh? What's that doing there?

"Sick and tired of your cat sitting on your keyboard when you're busy typing away?
Well, we're not giving this  great solution away for even 100$! This offer is only for 9 payments of $59.99!
Call in 30 minutes and we'll even throw in a cool hat for your cat!!!!!!!!"
Here's a funny picture I found online to cheer you up if you're having a shitty day (like me..sort of).

Edit: I Just realized that the picture and title kinda match, just gonna throw that out, so this time's picture actually has relation to my post :P.

So here's an interesting song that differs from the last two :P~
This song is a popular.. classic? I found this version in my music folder and it was stuck in my head so I decided to put it up.

It's called "Darn That Dream" (link for details on original) and this version comes from a Miles Davis nonet (group of 9). The vocalist is Kenny Hagood.
I may share more of this kind of stuff, but I just feel like sharing this one today.
Btw, if you don't like post intros starting with music, you can stop reading, because I'll probably continue doing this >:).

So we got our new schedules and I was making praying hand signals to who knows what (it was just an expression of my desperation) for my course sheet to be clean of foods and have concert band there. I had my hand in the air ready to do that air fist pump and say "HO YEA!". And then I see foods.
"Huh? What's Foods and Nutrition Level 1 doing there?"
"Lol, is this a joke?
"
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!! IT'S NOT A FUCKIN' JOKE D:<! I don't think I'll be able to change them since concert band basically interfered with every other class I had lol. At least I still have jazz. I wanted to get out of the class altogether but it turns out they moved me to the other foods class. I don't mind it now, but when I got it it was such a crap-ass feeling. Like they couldn't put me anywhere else and just stuck me there. To anyone in my class (Kirsty) that sees this, sorry for offending you, but I don't want to be in this class. And to anyone else, please understand my pain and anguish -tears- ;_;.

Well, for now, it's all alright, I spent all lunch microwaving my lunch so it was all nice and warm. Then I ate it in math. Eating in class feels a lot better than eating in our usual lunch spot for some reason.. Someone was passing around a bag of cheeseburger flavoured doritos and I tried them. Holy mother fuckin' shit, DO they taste like cheeseburger? HELL YEAH!
Some people in the class said it was disgusting and the aftertaste sucked, but I think it was alright. Kinda weird tasting, but quite a genius idea cheeseburger flavoured doritos are, that is. I linked an interesting review of the doritos above XD the guy's blog is pretty funny so you should read it!!
I got printouts for my band music and I saw a recording of a fight happening in the back of our school, so I'm satisfied for today. Thanks, school!
See you tomorrow, guys!

Music is it's Own Language

Here's a picture of today's weather, minus the flowers and all lol. Artist: Jun
The song of today's post is here!

The band for today is The Band Apart :D! I talked about them in yesterday's post and I'll probably bring them up again since I really like them. The song is called "Flower Tone". Not their best song in my opinion, but the song makes me happy. I don't think this has anything to do with the theme of this post. Just to let you know before you start thinking weird stuff, like yesterday, the song won't always have any relation to the post. I guess this post makes me feel better since it's been raining all day.. I don't like rain.

Er.. Today I wanna make a short post about music. I don't like it when people discriminate music because music is sound..No.. Music is art in the form of sound. Which means that anyone who can hear can appreciate it. That's why I don't understand why people have to draw the lines between other things like appearances or language.. I think music is something that can be enjoyed no matter what language it is, seriously, music is music, whether the language is understandable to you shouldn't stop you from listening to it. Which is why I like instrumental music! Sometimes, no words can mean much more. Which applies to instrumental music. There's nothing like lyrics to distract you from the story the music is trying to interpret itself. Try to listen to some, close your eyes, and picture what's going on. This is a music exercise so any music students out there have probably done it before.
I think music is a good thing as long as you enjoy it and it sounds good. Which means no physical attractiveness should compete with how you judge a musical artist.

I don't know if I'll talk about this again but I'll give a quick bit about my own musical background. I started piano around the age of 3? I continued it until I was 11. I quit because I didn't like it, but by now, I've come with the conclusion that it just wasn't my instrument. I was really bad at it, didn't try very hard, I didn't enjoy it. I might pick it up again though. By the time I was 11 we had to choose to play instruments in school for a band class. This was in grade 6 and 7. It was a really exciting moment, I decided to play some sort of baritone horn, but when the day came to try out instruments I tried blowing the mouthpiece of a trumpet and I just couldn't do it. I felt really ashamed.. I don't remember if I cried but it was a sad feeling since I'd made my mind about it all year. I could do flute and clarinet fine so I chose alto saxophone. Which I still play today! I'm glad I chose sax because I've learned a lot from it. I've been playing for about 3 years now and it's really fun, even though I come across a lot of hard stuff here and there.(I play it in jazz band). The last instrument I learned was bass, probably one that I enjoyed the most because I'd progressed a hell lot faster than the rest. I started this around late August last year, so yes, I've only been playing for about a year. I remember having nothing to do all year so I'd just sit down and practice my bass. This one is special because I started out with a crappy model and worked up to the one I have today! I paid some of it so it's really.. special to me. I don't have a picture of my saxophone, but I have some pictures of my current bass somewhere..here. Maybe I'll post some pictures of both later on. Just to let you know, yes I learned little things here and there, like recorder, castanets, triangle.. Little percussion things, I know :). I also learned guitar this summer.. Something that I will play on and off, not really learning it properly and playing it when I feel like it XD.
I think music is one of the few little things that I can actually brag about to people, so to me it's something really awesome. Also that it's something that everyone all ages and participate in. There are no limits, so pick up an instrument and pursue it!

I'm done for today. See you tomorrow everyone!

I guess today's theme is rain? This picture is pretty cute too,

Blacksmiths in the 60's and Instrumental Music

By now, you guys are probably thinking my favourite colour is blue or something.
Really, it's actually black, but blue is a soothing colour to the eyes, no? Artist: kkzt
Yes!! I've finally gotten this music box here to work. This is idea for those lonely readers who read in utter silence and need something to cheer them up in the back (LIKE ME)!
So here's a nice little tune from a small band I found online called Oyu (お湯). The name means hot water.

The song is called "me and you" and it sounds like an instrumental version of the band apart.  The song link leads to the video version that not all people can view unfortunately(blame nico nico douga :P).

I will probably feature more music from this band..? Mainly because I like the way they sound: a real nice mellow feeling that I like (like the band apart~~).
Futhermore, I'ma link the bands with available last.fm pages because it'll give you a good feel of who they are and most importantly: who they sound like :).
I'll probably put up some other songs that are stuck in my head later on.

Today I will stick in the bits that i didn't feel like putting in with yesterday's post! Yay!
I actually don't have much that I missed out actually.. I would usually put a day description here, but there isn't a lot of describe since I woke up at 2:13PM.. Really :p~.
I started watching The Sacred Blacksmith. I think the animation is ok, not that great though, story telling was alright, plot and music is pretty average. I started it because Manglobe produced it and I really like a lot of their stuff (Samurai Champloo, Sengoku BASARA, Ergo Proxy, Michiko to Hatchin, even Sarai-ya no Gorou which is a 2010 anime). I'm only in ep 1 right now so I can't say much yet, but it gained a lot of popularity and it's already a novel and manga so yeah. Btw the anime was released in 2009..
Here's a pic:
Here we have a female night in some out of world time period which according to wiki is 44 years ago, so.. what, 1966? Somewhere around the times of when Martin Luther made a big speech, The Beatles big music time was also around here, first human landing on moon, Kennedy was assassinated, China was brought forth a new rule that made everyone sad, some crazy shit happenin' in UK, more shit happening in Vietnam , and meanwhile, this girl is in a sort of late-medieval setting with funky looking armor, fighting monsters with a guy with a FREAKIN' UM.. RAT TAIL? (+lolis)
I don't know how knights tie in with katanas, so let's just think of this as complete fiction, since it is.
Here's the synopsis taken from wiki:
If you don't wanna read it, I'll summarize under.

44 years ago, a great war known as the Valbanill War raged the land. One of the war's most dangerous weapons was the Demon Contract, where humans sacrifice their bodies to become powerful demons. Realizing the damages the contracts have caused the land, the surviving nations made peace and banned the use of the Demon contracts.
Cecily Cambell is a 3rd generation Knight from Housman, one of the cities of the Independent Trade Cities, a democratic federation of cities. As her grandfather was one of the founders of the Independent Trade Cities, she is proud of her heritage and wishes to protect her city as a knight, like her father and grandfather before her. One day, she fights a mad veteran of the war causing trouble in the market, and, inexperienced and overmatched, faces defeat. But she is saved by a mysterious blacksmith named Luke Ainsworth. Cecily is impressed by Luke's katana, a weapon she has never seen before, and asks him to make one for her. Her involvement with Luke will bring her to an adventure she never expected.

Basically after this war, people get these contracts where they become powerful demons but a lot of places have realized that it causes some major shit so they've banned it. Then comes in this female knight named Cecily Cambell and her whole family runs this knight shit so she has to continue it. But she sucks at fighting and she's always saved by this white guy with blue eyes HOLDING A KATANA (so he's an American tourist who just came back from Japan lol~) and she asks him to make one for her (greedy bitch) since he's a blacksmith and she's never seen one of them katanas before. Then they go on adventures that I haven't seen from ep 1 yet.
The OP's name is "Justice of Light".. I'm very bothered by the title.
Anyone tired of letters? Here's a picture of something cute I got the other day ROFL.
I really like these tabby things but I don't know when to use them... Moreover, these ones are cute and and you're supposed to write on them. How much harder could this get??
Do you guys come into the situation when you look at something special and don't want to use it?! I'd like to use them but I actually don't know when and where because I usually don't use these anyways lol. Btw my friend got them for me otherwise I wouldn't know how to get them either.

I just realized that I've been talking about anime all this time that I don't need to continue. I'm going to end this post with ANOTHER SONG by Oyu (お湯) and a cute picture.

This song is called "Ld". And here are my tag artists with Oyu: The Band Apart, toe, ACIDMAN, UNCHAIN, He, and mostly whatever ties in with The Band Apart. All cool bands that I recommend for this kinda mellow stuff!
Tada! Cute picture :) of cats of all seasons!

See you tomorrow everyone!
