What's Cookin'?

I'm hoping I haven't already posted this online somewhere.. Anyways, Artist: ME. HAWHAW
It is Saturday evening and I have found myself on the computer. This time, looking for pictures to submit to the Newspaper Club. I've already sent in one so, I might as well finish that up with another 4. Maybe I'll even get my own page for this. LET'S HOPE FOR COLOUR! (We'll never get colour, we print on toilet paper lol). Here're.. 2 of them I sent in (including picture above).
I took all these, no matter how shitty, please don't take as your own.
I don't expect anyone to though.

Wondering how they'll look.. I edited them but the originals are still online somewhere, you have to find it though :). I also fixed a few pictures I took a while ago, maybe I'll submit them too.. I don't even know what's good -sigh- lol.
Anyone wanna know my connection to photograph? ..*AHEM. I used to really like taking pictures (still do). I took a lot. None of them were good looking. Then I started understanding what photography was and how a camera worked and stuff. I took some pictures of people for them, you know, did a few small shots here and there, you know LOLOL. It is a small hobby now. If I find a beautiful camera I'd like to buy maybe I'll start capturing the world's beauties again (I don't mean kidnapping pretty girls lol). Not for now though. I'm not actually here to ramble about my shitty pictures so..
Here we go:
Guess what I'm making? CAKE. LOL, AGAIN. THIS IS MY OWN ATTEMPT WITH LAYERED CAKE. DAPHNE, WATCH. AND. LEARN ROFL (JK). Actually my sister and I made this together so yes, we worked together on this. You will find out what kind of cake it is at the end.

I didn't take pictures of the caramel but this is the caramel WITH the whipped cream.

We add the butter.
Meanwhile..

Yay! We're done! NOW WE LET THAT SHIT SIT AND COOL DOWN.

Slice that baby, because we didn't want to make 4 layers (orig. suggestion).
We cut the recipe.

Spread that whipped cream.
..We could've waited a little longer so the cream wouldn't melt on top.
But this is it :D!

Sad little slice. It wasn't this small actually.

If you're wondering where we got this recipe, here. The book is called Delicious Creamy Desserts and this is what it would've looked like if we were awesome or we were moms who were English cooks. Also if we used the original 4 layer recipe.

Well. Everyone liked the cake, and that's what matters because it was fuckin' delicious.

Oh yea, the cake was called.. Something like delicious caramel layer cake. Which is what it exactly is. I'd like to bake more things from this book before we have to return it to the library, so look forward to them those posts :D.
