This one isn't the coolest picture I have in my folder, but basically sums up how I feel about winter break. FUCK YEAH! \o/ Artist: 108 |
Let me continue from here. I first started this post on the 18th (Sat.) and by now I have a Christmas theme song for you and some other things perhaps. Prepare yourself, this is a post where I will fit everything you have missed from my posts. The rest of this paragraph below is from 18th:
So by this time I would be posting pictures of the last day of school but it was actually very uneventful. Santa's breakfast (school tradition with performances + food + skinny white man in a costume) wasn't very good this year ._. . To top that off we had a lot of problems with the secret santa event we were trying to do, but nonetheless, thank you very much Mika (MAMA) for the wallet and candy :D! It was fun exchanging presents with everyone :). Nothing will go well when 5 different people do their own version of a Bruno Mars song all with inexperienced guitarists and a quiet vocalist. Well, it's about time I've done this so here we go:
Today's song is... Jazzy HOLIDAY MUSIC!
Well, not forgetting who I am, what's better than a jazzy Christmas?! A classic one at that too :P. This song is called "Skating" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio for the "A Charlie Brown Christmas" record. Nothing sets the holiday like a Charlie Brown special, right? I'll be back with holiday music until Christmas btw :).
Now with the rest of my post:
I'll continue here on. Renovation is done now. But last Tuesday when I came home.. I found something very strange.
The door and water machine were sitting in the living room.. Not too far from
The fridge and oven.
Kinda sucks to get kicked out of your living space because someone has to change the tiles right? I feel for those appliances XD. Well, it was only for 2 days. The tiles are settled in fine now and soon the counters will go next! Surprisingly I haven't taken a picture so I don't really have any before and after pictures to show you.. Sorry? Maybe in my next post.
Meanwhile, we've got a nice array of things we bought in the meanwhile. Not sure why I took pictures of these but I might as well post them up before they rot in my pictures folder.
We got Turkish delight. I really like this stuff :D.
First time I've seen ramune in a PET bottle. I can actually take out the glass ball and everything (TWISTY CAP). If you don't get what I mean you need to go to your local asian grocer and ask for some RAH-MOO-NEH (stop calling it RAH-moon) AKA AMAZING SODA.
Got this cute drink we found at T&T. One for my sister, one for me. It was NOT beer XD. The label in red says "Children's drink". Interesting 60's themes (if I am correct. I don't know anything about periodical time). If you're curious, it tasted like fizzy sweet stuff. Pretty average.
And here's my latest bit. I did more cooking ._. . Don't be surprised now, but it seems like when I have nothing better to post about I'll post pictures of the things I have consumed. I made crêpes. Now let me educate you before you make a fool or yourself. Contrary to popular pronunciation it is not called a "CRAY-PE". I only got this recently but you see the little hat on the E, it must symbolize something. You make that French noise where you gather all the spit in the back or your mouth so it should sound like "KUUU-HNGHHHAGH-E-P". If you can't do that like me and everyone who doesn't want to sadly humiliate themselves, just says "CREH-P" :D.
In all honesty I actually don't know how crepe's are made.. I see them as thin pancakes with filling and such. Any crepe masters out there, I'm sorry, I don't mean to disgrace your food and culture, I just.. Wanted to eat something sweet and I didn't have any real ingredients to make anything else..
There. It's my thin pancake. I made 3 from basic instructions I found online. If you're curious it's this: 1 cup flour, 1 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 eggs, and 2 tbsp oil.
Because this is what crepes look like on TV. I've only eaten crepes twice in my life.. And including this I guess 3. I like it so next time I'll bring whipped cream with it :). Didn't know what to put in so I found some nutella and banana. Then there's the semi-bitter baking chocolate that I didn't want to waste too.. IT WAS FUCKING DELICIOUS. I WAS CONVINCED I COULD GO VERY FAR FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES until I realized because I cooked it with a wok and the center was a little thick. I'll try harder next time. My mom and brother (AND ME) really liked it anyways.
This basically concludes my "to this point" post and I'll probably post later this week with a perhaps better topic :P~.
Have a nice week~!
