Caught in the Winter Excitement

So we've entered the beginning of winter, the season where the air smells like nothing ._. Artist: Fo~do

As every season has it's own magical theme, I say winter is one of those extra special ones. Yes, argue as much as you want; pink sunsets in the summer heat, crisp leaves underfoot in autumn, and spring's fresh breath that arrives with its fresh starts, still don't compare to the setting that winter gives. Think about it! Christmas, New years, Valentine's Day. This season is crawling with sentimentalism, lovers (yes, romance is in the air) and of course, commercialism! (Kinda hurt your feelings there did I? :P). At the same time, this means being alone during the cold winters is shitty. But for these many reasons winter is my favourite season. I also like summer, but winter gives a very cozy feeling that contrasts from the outside weather sometimes. And anyways, what other season offers snow here!?(Does not count if you live in the up norths) For that reason winter is very magical. Magic old man breaking into houses, magic food excluding bacon (WTF?!), magic school holiday after the report card disappointment, there is a lot to look forward to.

Now I'll stop it with the cheesy seasonal opening, I will only say this for winter because winter is a cute season.

The group comprises of 11 ladies, you know the regular full jazz crew, horns, keyboard, bass, and drums :D. I present to you Tokyo Brass Style! I found these guys.. girls on youtube and this song is "Fly me to the Moon", one of the many many renditions. This one is based off the Evangelion version which I liked a lot, which is why I must share it to everyone :D. This is a song with quite a history which you can look up in your free time if you want to know.


Besides the paragraph about winter above, it is fuckin' cold over here. I mean very cold for a weak being like me. I'm beginning to understand the amazing wonders of car heaters that people's body heat and breath replaces when you're in a bus : |. Also that marks have cut off around this time but my teachers will always have that evil tendency to give out more work and tests because it's their duty to (darn it). I've been having a busy week, and I have absolutely no reason to be posting right now, but I was browsing pictures again and I got that MAGICAL blogging feeling(6th time I've said magic in one post, I'm turning into a fairy or an elf dear lord). Oh well, Friday will be a pro-d day and I haven't posted in a while so I just might as well. Next time will be an economic post :P.
Raving about winter and snow makes me feel like I'm back in elementary school lol.
